2023 Swiss Festival supported by the Swiss Society
The Swiss Society of Victoria supported the Swiss festival which took place in Main Ridge, Victoria. It attracted over 800 visitors over the course of two days at the end of November.
The vibrant atmosphere, diverse cultural performances, and engaging activities truly showcased the rich heritage and traditions of Switzerland. It promoted cultural exchanges and fostered community connections.
Many Swiss used this occasion to take their families out to the country side and mix with other Swiss families they hadn’t seen for a while. Swiss food, beverages like Rivella, chocolates, sausages, cheese and other products were on offer.
Singers were yodelling and playing the alp horn several times per day. It was a festival which made Swiss feel close to home.
