Dorina Meda, a life member of the Swiss Society of Victoria and a member for decades of the Swiss Club of Victoria had a surprise visit from our vice-president Sylvia Hochuli last week. Dorina is 91 years old and very connected to the Swiss community. She is lovely to talk to and you can always have very interesting conversations with her. However, her mobility is decreasing and her eyesight is no longer what it once was. It gives us pleasure to cheer her up with a flowering pot plant and show her that the Swiss Society is there for young and old.
